Final Fantasy X
For one thousand years, Spira has been ravaged by a legendary and deathly creature called Sin, who punishes all that go against the Teachings of Yevon.
The only way to free Spira and give it peace before Sin is reborn is to send summoners who wield powerful aeons and guardians to Zanarkand to attain the final aeon and (hopefully) rid Spira of Sin for good.

Aoi watched the summoner then turned her gaze behind her to see Genesis. She said nothing but instead she looked back to her summoner. The night began to turn day and Aoi saw that Serena saw them both and was completely tooked by surprise by her ethusiasm. As the summoner ran past them calling them slowpokes Aoi jumped down and ran past Genesis with a smile on her face. The ronso chuckled a little and when she finally caught up with her she saw her saying her goodbyes and walked to her slowly. Her tail wagged from side to side and she placed two fingers to her lips and blew a whistle. Her chocobo made a soft cooing noise and jumped up instantly and ran over to Aoi. The ronso patted her on the back of the head and chuckled a little when she heard the bird coo aloud.
"Don't worry Serena I'll go when ever your prepared." She said with a smile showing little white teeth.

Genesis watched her switch from one mood to the other and he was slightly surprised at how well she suppressed her emotions like that. It was very impressive, he watched her run around him and with a glance to the top of the ruin he took off at a brisk job behind the both of them. Keeping his eye out for fiends. Suddenly three wolves appeared in front of him, jumping out of the trees. Without slowing down he took his sword in his hands and beheaded the first two with one sweeping motion. The third leaped at him which he dispatched with a Fira spell that escaped his lips in a deadly serious tone.
The wolf burst into flames and at the same time the three of the fiends erupted into pyer flies and they disappeared. Genesis continued following them, his eyes constantly moving. He could see the two of them did not notice at all. He would have to break both of them of that habit. They would not get very far if both of them were not paying attention to their surroundings. With a small sigh he passed through the gates and withdrew a cloth from his pocket and he wiped off his sword. He then put the sword back into its sheath and then put the cloth back into his pocket. With another sigh he stood beside Aoi watching Serena with protective eyes. This was going to be perhaps harder than he thought.

"Alright.... Mom, Dad.. I'm leaving now, but don't worry.. I'll be back... I promise!" She bowed her head with all her might, and slowly waved towards the,. Her mother cried as her father nodded with silence, and happiness. She rubbed the back of her head, and looked towards her guardians. Serena listened to every word of her new friends, and said, "Alright let' go Sin is out there, and we have to go beat it!" She giggled, and looked towards her family once more.
She silently smiled, and walked slowly towards the village gates hoping to hurry towards the beach. There was a port there, and she just had to make it. It was very important.. if she didn't then she would never head to her next destination. Finally sighing she walked past her guardians heading towards the dock at the beach.

Aoi smiled as her new friend said goodbye to everyone and she looked at them all. Everyone looked sad and happy yet she couldn't tell what Serena or Genesis was feeling but she could see that others had false smiles but Ai said nothing and just smiled. She watched her summoner waked right by her and looked to Genesis.
"Lets go." The little Ronso said seriously and climbed onto her chocobo.
The huge bird lifted itself and began to walk. It ran a littleahead of her and stayed in the front. She stopped every now and then to let the others catch up and her chocobo went ahead only to where Aoi could see the other two from where he was. It was pretty suprising that nothing attacked and Aoi had chills go down her spine. She kept her eyes wide for attacks that would happen while they headed down to the beach.

Genesis watched at she said good bye and the air was filled with sorry and remorse. But also hope. It was something he was used to feeling, but something about this particular event set a heavy weight on his chest and he was not quiet sure as to what it was. Serena then turned and walked by him again, plastering on a cheerful smile yet he could see it in her eyes how sad she was. He followed behind wordlessly. What was he to say? He could not think of anything that would lighten the situation so he followed them with his eyes open to his surroundings. He kept a steady eye on both Aoi and Serena, as well as behind him in case of another fiend attack.
Once they reached the beach he looked at the ocean. He could not help but feel a little bit of dread. Would he survive this pilgrimage? Would Serena? Would Aoi? Could he do what had to be done when the time comes once they reach Zanarkand? With a stiff nod of his head he decided then what he would do. He would do what must be done, there was nothing left for him in Spira anymore. He followed Serena to the ship and with a shallow breath he looked at her. "This is it. No turning back. Are you ready?"

Jay sat quietly in a shadowy corner of the boat, leaning back on one of the large crates around him. He listened carefully when he heard the sound of more footsteps making their way up the gang plank and onto the boat. Silently he turned around and peaked over the top of the crate so he could see who was getting onto the boat; it was who he had been waiting for, the summoner and her friends, who he guessed now were her new guardians. Jay wasn’t really worried about the little Ronso, but the other guy looked like he had a lot of experience fighting, and would be ready for anything. Jay thought that he would probably have to keep low and out of the way of them for this trip, though it could be hard on such a small ship like this. But if they did find him he could always make up some sort of excuse; like he needed to get home on this ship.
It hadn’t been hard getting to the boat from the village unnoticed; he had woken up when someone had left the village to go to the beach; he had easily recognized them as the summoner. He had gone to pack up his things then, but then the Ronso passed by too, and the other guy, so he had had to hide again until they had gone. Gathering his things, he had then made his own way down to the beach, following them. However, half way down he had seen them coming back, so had hidden until they had passed. Then he had moved onward to the boat, knowing that they would probably be back soon, since he had heard the summoner last night saying how they would embark on their pilgrimage today. And so he had waited on the boat for them.
He quickly ducked back down again once he had seen them, moving back into his previous position. He kept his head down and his eyes focused on his hands; he was whittling away at a piece of wood to pass the time. He wasn’t really whittling the wood into any shape in particular, just slicing thin pieces of wood off rhythmically, the shavings fluttering to the deck like strange brown butterflies. And if you had looked at his face, you might have noticed he was smirking.

Serena nodded at Genesis's words, and headed on the boat. Her family quickly rushed, and waved good-by while using the summoners wave. She was almost about to cry, but shook her head, and looked around trying to see if anyone else had planned on trying to follow her. She was actually surprsied at how well she was trying to take leaving her home, and everything she loved. Looking towards her stave she sighed, and said,"Well this is it... he's right.. no turning back now.." She tapped her fingers on the side of the boat, and looked ahead starting her new journey.

Steffan approached the cluster of people, looking around. He then looked up to see a girl waving to everyone. "...Is that girl someone important?" he asked, catching a nearby man. The man gave him a funny look. "Well, is she?"
"You aren't from around here, are you?" the man replied. "She's a summoner, y'know?" With that, he pried himself from the mans grip.
"Summoner..." Steffan rolled it over on his tongue. "So she's a summoner..." The swordsmans face scrunched up, and he rubbed his temples. "Summoner...Summoner...Summoner....Keia..." The man shook his head violently. Summoner Keia? Who was that? Oh, what did it matter...
He turned to walk away, yet stole a glance back to the boat. "...What have I got to lose?" he asked himself, turning around. The swordsman nudged his way through the crowd, then started up the gangplank onto the boat.

Aoi pulled herself off the chocobo at the plank to the boat to let the other two on and followed after, leading her chocobo up as well. She stood next to Genesis watching Serena waving goodbye to everyone ho was running to the boat to say their goodbyes. She watched all them and was a little suprised to see someone run up the plank but her attention didn't last long on him and quickly went back to the summoner. Her chocobo laid by the entrance to the cabins and fell asleep until they would be getting off.

Genesis looked about the boat, and from what he could see nothing looked suspicious. He saw the top of someones head on the other side of the boat behind some boxes, but the sound of running footsteps stole his attention and he looked back at the gangplank and saw a man running up to the boat. He bent slightly, preparing attack, but the man did not. He just landed. Genesis straightened slightly but he did not relax his position as he looked at the man. He looked between Serena and then judged the man.
He looked like he could hold his own, with his muscles, as well as the sword he carried with him. Was he a crusader? Or was he another guardian? Genesis could not tell exactly but he figured it did not completely matter. This boat was not just for the summoner anyway. Genesis went back to observing the boat, seeing Aoi's chocobo fall asleep. He leaned against the railing looking out at the sea and then he looked back at Serena a question on his lips, but he did not ask it, and looked back out into the distance again.

{OOC: Thread moving to Kilika Island}
IC: Looking out she was happy to know that her journey was finally starting. Sighing, and hearing a few noises she giggled, and went towards the sleeping area of the boat. She had just stayed up al night, and rest was really needed. Waving back towards Genesis she smiled, and headed out to the bed. She felt as someone was watching her it was strange, yet she knew that it was there looking at her, and planning something in the wake.
